Get ready for an unforgettable evening of storytelling as SPARK Storytellers take the stage this Saturday, February 8th, at 7 PM at the Trinity Playhouse! (General admission. No Online Ticket Sales.)
This round’s theme, “And That’s Love!”, will explore love in all its forms—unexpected, heartwarming, and maybe even a little surprising. Our talented storytellers—Connie Baer, Jo Barto, Kandy Cleland, Christine Martin, Chris Lydic, Stephen May, Robin Tener, and Scott Weingart—will share personal stories, told to the best of their recollection, that will make you smile, laugh, and maybe even shed a tear.
We’re especially excited to welcome back Coach Robin Tener, who will present her seventh SPARK story, “My Favorite Birdwatcher.” Also returning is Jo Barto, sharing “Surprise”—and if her last story (which involved a pair of scissors and a pink boot!) is any indication, we know we’re in for something special. Stephen May brings us “The Gospel of St. Marigold the Good Girl”—a sweet reflection —while Kandy Cleland shares bewilderment in her story, “Mame, Gooch & Toots.” Scott Weingart will share a VERY recent story, "Isn't She Lovely?" and Christine Martin, Leap of Faith Dance Studio owner, will share her first SPARK story, "Sigma Nu." Connie Baer returns to remind us all "It's not about Winning."
As always, SPARK Storytelling is about Stories to Promote Acceptance, Respect, and Kindness, and we can’t wait to experience this journey with our community.
Come be part of this powerful night of storytelling! Join us at the Trinity Playhouse this Saturday at 7 PM—you won’t want to miss it!
