Winter evenings can be a drag. It's cold out, there's not much to do around town, and all the typical hangout spots are closed or closing.

That's why Stage Left Players launched a new youth program: Theatre Night 4 Teens (TN4T).

Stage Left creative leaders Christine Martin, Paul Dahman and Paige Johnson will host a weekly program of "Collaborative Creativity" each Sunday from 5 - 6:30 p.m.

The program includes team building, improv games and visual art activities, all aimed at building skills and community in a safe and welcoming environment.

Emily Damelio as "One of the gang" Ms.Damelio is now a music educator and oboist in Cincinnati. Levi Ridgeway as "PigPen"- Dr. Ridgeway is an eye physician and surgeon in Athens, Ohio.

Building up the Lisbon-area's youth has always been a mission of Stage Left Players.

Resident Artistic Director Kandy Cleland watched teens flourish on the stage for the past 30 years, “Parents and teens credit Stage Left with helping them grow in confidence to find success as they follow their dreams. We hope that this offering will provide a fun and safe way for the youth of our surrounding communities to make new friends discover the joy of theatre and visual arts at the Trinity Playhouse.”

Who: Teens from Lisbon and surrounding areas.

When: Sunday nights, 5:00-6:30 beginning January 30 at 234 E Lincoln Way in downtown Lisbon.

What: A guided time of fun (improv and team building games, creative activities), learning (about visual arts, theater, social skills, leadership, and anything else that meets group needs or desires) and service to one another and beyond.

Price: Free for any interested teen.
