Are you in grades 7-12 and trying to find your inner playwright, poet and/or storyteller?


Then join playwright, poet, storyteller Kandy Cleland at the Trinity Playhouse from 2:30-4 PM this Sunday, October 23rd to begin the journey.


Whether you want to write an original play, recite a poem, tell a story or try all three, Stage Left is the place to start. Why? Because we want to discover who we are through these arts to promote acceptance, respect and kindness in our community. Our NEA Big Read Adventure of Andrew Krivak’s The Bear continues with a Craft & Sip with Deer Path Designs! On Saturday, December 17th from 1- 3 PM, expert designer/crafter Genna Case will guide adult participants (ages 21 and over) in painting and assembling their unique wooden Bear projects at the Trinity Playhouse.

Choose which of the two beautiful designs you want to make uniquely yours and take it home with you to decorate or give as a holiday gift to that special someone!

Stage Left was among 62 national recipients of 2022-2023 NEA Big Read grant funding to facilitate community programs from September 2022- May of 2023. The Bear Craft & Sip will provide another opportunity for people to connect through Andrew Krivak’s novel, The Bear. Quotes from the book will be on display to inspire crafters and copies of the book will be available on loan from Stage Left.
